This planner offers some insight into his organization and setup. I loved the weekly planning pages with the large amount of space (I divided them into four sections for the subjects I teach and still had *plenty* of room.) and the fact that there is a monthly calendar as well...perfect for writing in staff meetings, events, etc. New teachers in particular might enjoy his goals sections, suggestions, and the free downloads available to customers. [2] Rating: 4 Date: 2007-06-30 Summary: Not your regular planner ... I am not a big fan of daybooks, and am the kind of teacher who has trouble recording and planning in this format. This was the first daybook that I have actually been able to use for a full school year, a minor miracle in itself, but I also found the overall format and feel to be more "organic" and conducive to effective planning. I especially appreciate the terse but relevant hints or suggestions he gives that may be obvious [like relating one week's content to the next] but they are still helpful. This is a daybook ...more
