I have had this book for over 4 years now and have used it with children from kindergarten through 2nd grade. I have manipulated the large picture pages to include handwriting lines for the children to practice writing their letters. The students consistently love the pictures that accompany each letter of the alphabet. There are word lists including: short and long vowel sounds, digraphs, blends, initial and ending consonants, silent 'e' endings, etc. This book is a keeper. ...more
